About Us

Simply Outdoor Experiences is a group which focuses on helping people reconnect with
nature. We provide exciting opportunities for individuals interested in trying new experiences in safe, comfortable surroundings. We believe that our thoughtfully coordinated events help individuals rediscover their passion for outdoor activities. Our various activities allow a person to enjoy new experiences with the hope that they will find their particular area of interest and develop it into an enjoyable hobby.

Simply Outdoor Experiences holds one day events for people of all ages and backgrounds; children, adults, single parents, and people with special needs to name a few. Our meetings have included educational events within schools. We also have monthly club meetings to give people a chance to try new activities on a more frequent basis. There is a group activity the first Saturday of the month. Prior to this activity there is a meeting providing instruction on proper use of the gear, and tips on how to ensure a more successful experience. The day of the activity the entire group is guided step by step to ensure that each participant is comfortable with the planned event. Our staff adjusts their instruction and activities to individual needs in order to empower each individual to succeed. One such activity is Simply Outdoor Experiences fishing events that are coordinated with local parks. Simply Outdoor Experiences provides all the fishing gear, bait, and professional guides for these activities to help ensure that the experience is a positive one.

Simply Outdoor Experiences has a number of resources around Minnesota which allow us to
provide experiences with very little expense involved. Our staff includes Youth Mentors who are certified with the State of Minnesota DNR. Simply Outdoor Experiences works closely with the DNR to insure that we are keeping up with current ways to keep children engaged and involved in our activities. We have held events for various schools and clubs. They have included Big Brothers and Big Sisters, HopeKids, Camp Confidence, Stride Academy, Starkey Hearing Foundation, Boy Scouts of America, Becoming an Outdoors Woman, and many more.

It is becoming evident that we are losing touch with the youth of today. Simply Outdoor Experiences has found exciting ways to get children away from video games and the internet. We want to get them involved in fun activities involving interaction with others. Families are reminded that it only takes the willingness to try something new to create everlasting memories and stories to share around the dinner table for years to come. We believe in creating role models and mentors within families; rather than within the media. Our hope is to hand down the skills we teach to the next generation for safe keeping; and to ensure a future of inviting outdoor experiences for many generations to come.
